A little bit sweet, a little bit smoky. So savory and umami, this is my favorite way to eat tempeh. A perfect compliment to rice bowls, salads or noodles dishes.
1 – 8oz package of tempeh, cubed and (optional) steamed. See notes.
1/4 cup reduced sodium tamari
1 1/2 TB maple syrup
1 TB apple cider vinegar
2 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp molasses
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp coriander
3/4 tsp smoked paprika
pinch of chipotle powder
1 tsp tomato paste
2 tsp avocado oil
